Wood Canada’s Operation team is currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Technologist / Designer to support and grow our office in Sudbury, ON.

As the Senior Mechanical Technologist / Designer you will bring your 10+ years of knowledge and experience to the team, within mining, manufacturing, & heavy industrial projects. This will be an ideal position for a senior level engineer who is keen to grow our industrial business in the Ontario region.

• Provide piping drafting support to capital and operating projects in a fast-paced environment
• Drafting of mechanical systems such as HVAC, Compressors, Pumps and Piping
• Revise and / or develop detailed Piping and Instrument Diagrams, piping drawings and other mechanical drawings
• Development of Construction Work Packages
• Work closely with Engineers and team members to ensure contractor compliance to issued designs
• Field as-built, measurement, and design as project requires
• Comply with all company procedures, engineering practices and other standards
• Meet or exceed the company’s safety standards
