Job Description
We are currently seeking a Millwright for a local Sudbury client. They need full time, part time and temporary contract employees for several upcoming projects.
Job Overview:
The Maintenance and Repair Millwright is responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment.
Qualifications:
- College diploma in Millwright, Electrical or Mechanical technician or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 year related experience preferred
- Millwright ticket or Journeyman license is an asset.
- Familiarity with repair of manufacturing equipment including lathes, mills, welding equipment, paint equipment.
- Knowledge of machine centers, tools, including their designs, uses and maintenance.
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings, or other structures to support infrastructure capex projects and general facility repairs.
- Ability to safely operate tools and equipment within production facility or office environment for repairs.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, schematics.
- Willingness to learn.
Wages TBD based on experience, job location and tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
