Job Description

We are currently seeking a Millwright for a local Sudbury client. They need full time, part time and temporary contract employees for several upcoming projects.

Job Overview:

The Maintenance and Repair Millwright is responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma in Millwright, Electrical or Mechanical technician or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 year related experience preferred
  • Millwright ticket or Journeyman license is an asset.
  • Familiarity with repair of manufacturing equipment including lathes, mills, welding equipment, paint equipment.
  • Knowledge of machine centers, tools, including their designs, uses and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings, or other structures to support infrastructure capex projects and general facility repairs.
  • Ability to safely operate tools and equipment within production facility or office environment for repairs.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, schematics.
  • Willingness to learn.

Wages TBD based on experience, job location and tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
