Manager, Quality & Strategic Engagement

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, the Manager, Quality & Strategic Engagement provides leadership and support to the Quality Improvement, Health Promotion, Marketing and Communication programs. The incumbent has primary responsibility for the development, implementation, coordination, management, and evaluation of activities within respective programs.  The manager oversees the staff and activities of the programs, including service planning processes, selecting, training, supervising, and evaluating the performance of staff, as well as monitoring the budget, program planning and evaluation.

  • Master’s in Health, Social Sciences, Business, or related field.
  • Candidates possessing a Bachelor’s degree will be considered. Offers of employment will be contingent on registering and commencing a Master’s program within three years of hire.
  • Minimum 1 year of management experience
  • Related experience in program planning and quality improvement processes
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across sectors
  • Knowledge of relevant provincial legislation
  • Certified Health Executive designation is an asset
  • Bilingual requirements will be posted in accordance with the FLS Designation Plan. Bilingualism is required for 40% of positions. If a position is designated bilingual and no bilingual candidates (both internal and external) meet the qualifications, unilingual candidates may be considered.


Master’s Degree – Step 1: $88,156 – Step 5: $103,713

Bachelor’s Degree – Step 1: $78,146.29 – Step 5: $91,936.77
