Job Description

We are hiring an Inside Sales/Administrator for a local Sudbury client. The ideal candidate has a knack for relationship building and keeping customers happy. With a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and love to keep things organized and running smoothly.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide a positive customer sales and service experience, in person and via phone
  • Help customer identify product needs and proper product application
  • Respond to customer emails in a timely fashion
  • Assist with routing and delivery of customer orders
  • Set up product displays and ensure store is well stocked, clean, and organized
  • Coordinate with drivers on delivery manifest and driver ticket verification
  • Coordinate with purchasing department regarding various stocking duties (sourcing materials, expediting orders, etc)
  • Prepare customer orders and assist customers at loading dock
  • Assist with completing cycle counts and inventory control
  • Assist with receiving restock orders, filling back orders and shipping and receiving or product.
  • General office admin duties and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Business, or combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience administrative, customer service or inside sales
  • Good proficiency with MS Office, specifically Word and Excel
  • Tech savvy, with prior ERP software experience an asset
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, follow-up, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, quickly switching tasks when required
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to build solid relationships with both staff and clients.
  • Be able to lift up to 75lbs and handle compressed gas cylinders
  • Some knowledge of welding and/or welding gases, a definite asset
  • Bilingual English/French, a definite asset

Job Type: Fixed term contract

  • Sudbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
