Job Description
Our local client is hiring for a fitter/welder with a variety of experience on different mining equipment to join their Sudbury team!

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications Shift work, weekends and overtime if required Adhere to safety policies and standards Keep shop, equipment, and tools clean and in safe operating condition Punctual reliable attendance is a must
Required Qualifications:
Valid drivers’ licence and a reliable mode of transportation 3 to 4 years experience as an industrial pipe fitter and welder on a variety of mining equipment in the mining industry Red Seal license preferred Valid Fitting and Welding tickets are considered an asset Valid forklift and over head crane tickets (training provided if not already in possession of tickets) Required Equipment:
Steel-toed safety boots Safety glasses/goggles Welding Gloves Welding helmet High Vis Vest
Additional information: Quality of work and rate of pay will be evaluated in a weld test Full-time hours Contract to Permanent Benefits packages available after probationary period Day, night, and afternoon shifts available.
